Brief Process
The Georgia Aquarium was the first place I went when I came to Atlanta. When I arrived at my destination, I was shocked by the design of the logo. At that time, I had an idea to redesign the logo. However, the first assignment at the beginning of the semester was to look for the logo of a large company to be redesigned. I chose the Georgia aquarium without hesitation.
Objectives
Create a New Identity
The old logo is simple, just a big letter G plus a fishtail and use sea blue to be the whole color. That's the logo is pretty cute but no feeling of the design and really old fashion. So the first goal is to redesign a new logo for Georgia Aquarium.
Create New Element of Design
The old element of the design is a photo of marine organisms, on the website, apps, and all tickets. That is not bad but it is no creative and can not catch people's eyes. I want to resign from all the elements, maybe the printing style.
More Fun, More Visitors
When I went to the Georgia Aquarium it only took me like 2 hours to finished whole galleries and exhibits and even watched 4D movies, so I think we need more fun to get old visitors back and let them share their experience with new visitors.
